This painting is of a pit bull that belongs to my daughter. Monty is a fun loving dog and would never hurt anyone. I enjoyed painting his portrait on his travel with the honeymoon couple in upper New York state. I named the painting after Monty, and called it Monty's Travels. He loves to explore and walk in the shade of the tall pine trees. I have gone with Monty and my daughter on nature walks. I enjoyed painting this secen with brush strokes and palette knife strokes.
